After years of working in cinema projection and post-production, we saw firsthand how challenging it can be for filmmakers to navigate the technical demands of DCP creation. DCP SQUARE was founded by a professional with over 20 years of experience across the film industry, blending expertise in both technical operations and post-production. His journey began as a cinema projectionist at 17, leading to the role of technical manager at Vue West End in Leicester Square, where he was responsible for UK, European, world, and royal premieres.
After building a strong foundation in cinema technology, he transitioned into the world of post-production, starting with ONSIGHT, where he worked on high-end post-production services for the film and television industries. He then moved to The CollecTV, a niche company specialising in DIT and data wrangling services on-set, for film and episodic productions, as well as outside broadcast & media engineering for television productions - further sharpening his technical knowledge and understanding of the production pipeline.
His most recent role was with TRAILER PARK, one of the world’s leading movie trailer production companies, where he led technical teams in producing high-quality trailers for theatrical release. This unique experience, from cinema exhibition to post-production and media creation, led him to launch DCP SQUARE.
With a wealth of hands-on technical expertise, a passion for cinema, and a deep understanding of both the creative and technical aspects of filmmaking, he ensures that DCP SQUARE offers a service that’s both highly professional and incredibly efficient.

My journey into cinema began in the projection booth. At 17, I started as a cinema projectionist, learning the mechanics of film reels and the art of presenting a flawless cinematic experience. By 22, I was managing the technical side of 11 Vue cinemas across London, including the flagship Vue West End in Leicester Square - the beating heart of UK cinema. I had the privilege of running countless premieres, from UK and European debuts to world and royal events - where the pressure to deliver a seamless screening was as intense as the red carpet outside.
After over a decade immersed in the front lines of exhibition, I transitioned into post-production - the place where the final shape of a film is crafted. Working behind the scenes gave me a deeper appreciation for the technical precision and creative intent that defines great cinema. I saw how much filmmakers poured into their work, and I understood the pressure they felt to ensure their vision was faithfully translated to the screen.
That’s why I founded DCP SQUARE. To bridge that gap between creative vision and technical delivery. I wanted to offer filmmakers a reliable, expert service where they could trust that every detail, from color fidelity to audio depth, would be handled with care and precision. Whether it’s an independent short or a major feature, my approach remains the same: to treat each project with the respect and technical mastery it deserves.
